im faster
Okay, so i am having 2 issues. 2003 Mazda 6 163k auto 1. The first im pretty sure is just a loose connection somewhere.. occasionally after hitting a bump or hitting the brakes the headlights both just turn off.. (yeah a little scary) but i noticed if i hit the gas the will turn back on.. sounds like a loose connection to me but any other ideas? 2. And the bigger problem... only when the car is cold. it goes into reverse fine. however when i put into drive probably 70% of the time (but only after the car has been sitting long enough for it to get cold) it takes up to 10 seconds before it actually shifts into gear. I tried using the sport shift but i went through all of the gears and nothing changes. i can either just keep it in drive and wait and it will eventually go into gear or i put it in neutral and rev the motor up a little then it will go back into drive. Could be a loose/shorted connection, turn the lights on and wiggle the harness to see if you can replicate the problem. 2. I know it sounds stupid but have you checked the fluid level recently?
