ansonivan
The lighting is something my brother set up, it's an ancient commercial flash setup with two soft boxes and an umbrella. I bought the background paper from Columbus Camera group. Added a picture of the lightbox: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7168/6826026183_188284fb3e_b.jpg Edited February 5, 2012 by ansonivan

ansonivan
I've been offered this rifle in trade for the 30-30, I have no interest in owning an Indian Enfield but wouldn't mind making the trade if it's worth more than the Searschester I currently own. Any input in this thing? Included dude's description and the one picture the he sent. "Ishapore Enfield 2A1 NO.1 MK.3 in 7.62x51 Nato (.308win) it is in 98% condition it has a 25.2 “ Bbl. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves 12rd detach box magazine and sling this one started out as a project to sporterized it but because the Italian Walnut factory stock and forearm are in such great condition I left them alone and bought another stock and forearm and sporterized them and put that one on. It comes with both stocks forearm." http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7194/6866847169_e2d24b451c_o.jpg

RyM3rC
I have had two of the Indian Enfield 2As for awhile now. When they were imported a few years ago they sold for around $170-$200 but have gone up to the $250-$320 range. Probably not a trade up in your case, but maybe a trade sideways? The enfields are great shooters and are generally pretty accurate. Normal accuracy is about 4moa with surplus ammo out of the box, and there are lots of tricks for accurizing enfields. Below is a pic of a group I shot today in the wind and a pic of what the military stock looks like. You're welcome to come shoot mine if you want to try before you trade. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=704&pictureid=5803 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=704&pictureid=5802
RyM3rC
And another thing: Don't be put off by having a Indian rifle. The 2A is actually quite a bit better (in my opinion) than a British enfield, as the steel is substantially stronger and the 7.62 Nato round is much more practical than the .303. The Indians coated them in a thick black paint (over the normal finish which I believe is park.) and preserved them in cosmoline but it looks like your sporter is cleaned up quite a bit. Make sure it extracts correctly as the Enfields like to break extractor springs (they're $7). I can give you more info on them if you want.
