Truth be told, those turbo oil-cooled engines are extremely durable and likely has necessitated only head refreshes and maybe one or two bottom-end rebuilds in that 600k mile lifespan If you would have read the article (which you didnt cause you are an asshat), you would have read about the several rebuilds, including 2 blown race engines within a 2 yr span. I was cracking up at the point where he was discussing him bottoming the car out hard enough to blow the shocks through the mounts and pancake the muffler. All right before the Texas Mile.
