351mach11647545510
So it appears my tranny finally took a shit in the avalanche and I'm really wanting to take a stab at it myself. Even if I spend the same on tools and parts as I would paying someone, I feel it would be worth it, just to learn to do it myself. Any thoughts/opinions on this, perhaps someone that's done the same thing?
MrMeanGreen
I tried this route years ago with someone that actually had experience building these. What ended up stopping us was the special tools needed to tear one apart. There's a few, and they're really expensive, into the thousands of dollars. Just have it done professionally. evil8
I build them and will tell you, these aren't turbo 350s. Tools required are vital to building them correctly.
