El Karacho1647545492 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 when i had my XD I'd always take it very easy on the bore but when it came to every other part of the gun, i used to love just sitting watching tv and taking a pile of q-tips and cleaning pads to the other parts for hours, like V8 Beast. something about the ritual of cleaning puts me at ease. always just used hoppes no. 9 and gun oil.
