Johny Utah
Is it a bad idea to buy a car with a rebuilt title? Its only 5000 for it. They said it was only cosmetic damage.
MrMeanGreen
Have it inspected on a lift. Also ask for documentation.
RyM3rC
Of course, what did you expect them to say? "We had to cut out half the frame rails and weld in some new steel, and the replacement body panels are hand-formed out of bamboo in china, but it's as good as new" If it drove nice and I liked it, I wouldn't disqualify it entirely. Just have a good inspection done.
Rocky31186
probably find some good info in here... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100137
downingracing
Just treat it like any used car - inspect the hell out of it. A branded title will lower the resale value. A non-branded title does NOT mean the car is 'good'. You need to inspect every used car for frame damage, repair damage and issues. Don't assume that a rebuilt title means the car is a POS. Many cars get a rebuilt title with no damage... Good luck.

AWW$HEEET
run. there are so many other good cars out there, no need to try to sacrifice.
Rustlestiltskin
I would never buy a branded/rebuilt car. Unless I planned on keeping it til the day I die. Like gabriella said, too many good cars out there. No need to get a price cut just for a "damaged goods" car.
