hpfiend Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 Hey all, As I am sure some of you know the explorer 8.8 rear end has an offset center section. I am planning on using it in a normal rwd application with a central driveshaft. Do you think the fact that the driveshaft will be at a slight angle will be a problem? turboking15 Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 One thing i have seen guys do is shorten the drivers side tube to match the passenger side tube and then you just have to get another passenger side axle instead of a custom one.
