BradyPPC
And here is a quick dyno video for those that want to hear it. I still need to do an idle video of the car but it sounds SWEET sitting still. The entire car has a nice little rock to it! http://youtu.be/d3azJEBf4RI?hd=
BradyPPC
Here is a an updated video of this car with a walk behind idle clip. This thing sounds AWESOME sitting!! Patterson
730 hp is stout. What level will he need to start worrying about breaking things?
BradyPPC
730 hp is stout. What level will he need to start worrying about breaking things? The GT500's are pretty strong. 775-800 at the tires is not out of the question on a stock block. Much above that I would probably recommend a built shortblock. The key to making one live on the stock bottom end is keeping detonation away 100%. The stock rods wont take much detonation at all before the split. hpfiend
Vids don't work... nice job though! Does that roll bar bolt in or did you weld it? It looks very high-quality. I am surprised he didn't have you weld the axle tubes- is it going to be more of a road racing car?
BradyPPC
Vids don't work... nice job though! Does that roll bar bolt in or did you weld it? It looks very high-quality. I am surprised he didn't have you weld the axle tubes- is it going to be more of a road racing car? Yeah, I just pulled the videos and dyno charts down at the customers request. We always ask the customer before using any pics or videos from their builds and we were given permission originally. Once they were posted he asked if we could pull the dyno charts down, which we were more than happy to do for him. He simply stated he didnt want people knowing how much power his car made and I can respect that. I pulled the videos since they had the charts in them as well. I may go back up and edit the video later just without the chart. Im not really sure. Do that and its a million people complaining that there is no graph... The roll bar was a bolt in from RPM Roll bars. It fit nicely and fit his needs. The car primarily is a street car but will probably see mid-ohio a few times a year. On3Performance
Heard this car sitting out back just at idle and sounded so good. Very clean build and killer power, nice job as always
iwashmycar
all the vids are removed??
BradyPPC
all the vids are removed?? I am uploading a video right now that has the idle and dyno pull but does not have the dyno chart attached. That way we can keep within the customers wishes. As soon as it is uploaded, Ill post it. For those that want to see numbers, I have a set of cams being done for a Supersnake with a 3.4 Whipple that I will post numbers on as well as vids and I should have some on a 3V using our custom cams with an F1a Procharger hopefully by the end of the week depending on how the week plays out.
