Microcenter is there in columbus, wait for a 2600k sale again and combo it with one of their motherboards and some ram, pick out a case and decent GPU and be done. Your failing to understand what having a gpu does for you. It allows you to get instant previews of affects that normally require a pass. Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop both support the use of GPU to accelerating various aspects ON TOP OF THE CPU. Your "Encoding Race" is pointless for what I'm refering to .
