Mace1647545504 Posted April 29, 2012 Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) I know you guys are more sport bikes but I thought I'd throw it here also: Very nice Bike with 5000 miles....not 50000, no 15000, not..well you get it. It is a gorgeous red color with windshield, backrest, passenger floor boards. It has a set of slip on after market exhaust and I have the original. I replace the tires last year and they have about 1100 mile on them I have also purchased the "pair valve plates" to stop the back fire once it is warmed up(these will come with the bike) This this is a pleasure to ride anywhere. My wife and I have taken several long trips and she loves the ride. This is a very good year as the 02s has a grounding problem and the 04s had another problem but it escapes me at the moment. Also the bike comes standard with a hydraulic clutch, upside-down fork, cast aluminium wheels and a Dual Combined Brake Pressure Equalization System. The Brake system means that when pressing the back brake some of the pressure is channelled to the front brakes as well(not quite abs but nice) with a 5 gallon tank(asout 200mi before the fuel light comes on and a shaft drive. When we rode to WVA last year we gassed at point pleasant (the mothman ride) and did 80-85 all the way back without a hiccup. This is a mans bike at 700+ lbs but is fast and will hit a corner hard.
