justinwebb
I have a extra front spoiler for my car just sitting around and was wondering if anyone has ever worked with skinning a part and all the materials needed like black base epoxy and the different hardeners and clear coats. I just don't know how much of each to use to cover everything.
Mensan
The way to shave weight and make quality parts is by vacuum forming the parts. Without a vacuum you'll have an exceedingly high amount of epoxy left in the part which will make it heavy, perhaps even heavier than the original part. Diamonds
I have laid CF before. Looks very different if you don't used a vacuum system. I can help you if you like. It might not turn out how you are maybe expecting it to
