RedRocket1647545505
I've run into a bit of a dilemma. I need to make a trip to southern Tennessee and back to Ohio this week and will be hauling a 4x8 or 6x10 trailer the entire way (loaded w/ ~1,000lb+ on the return trip). I'm trying to avoid putting the miles and wear and tear on my Colorado, not to mention, I'm not sure how it will do hauling that weight back through the mountains. Ideally, I would like to rent a medium-sized SUV w/ a hitch so that I can pull in comfort and confidence. The problem is that Enterprise and Avis, etc, do not rent vehicles with a hitch installed for liability reasons. I absolutely do not want to rent a Uhaul truck because: 1. I hate Uhaul, and 2. it would be a fortune. Any other options or am I stuck using my Colorado? P.S. - borrowing a vehicle is not an option either.
