bmwohio Posted July 11, 2012 Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 What exactly do you want expunged? Misdemeanor? Felony? Here is the Ohio law on Expungement: Ohio is a "sealing" state. Sealing allows first-time offenders to petition the court for the sealing of a conviction record. To be eligible, one must not have any current charges pending, or prior or subsequent criminal convictions, other than minor misdemeanors and those arising from the same incident. Completion of the court's sentence (fines, restitution, jail/prison, probation, etc.) and a waiting period from the date of discharge is also required (one year for misdemeanors or three years for felonies). Radio Flyer1647545514 Posted July 11, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 This is a first time offense. The only other offense is a MM, which does not show up on a background check. If a background check was run it would come back as a M4 with the offense description. No Plea, Bond Forfeiture. A Bond Forfeiture is described as, not enough evidence to convict. I did not have a lawyer and I had to go in front of a judge but I do not remember the whole process. I am sure a lot has changed since 1994 though .
