Should I have them painted or powder coated and why? Second question: The covers came with a 'wrinkle' powder coating from Ford. In order to achieve a smooth surface, do I need to have that media blasted off, sanded, dipped/hot tanked and scraped, something else? Thanks! Once the cars name is painted they will be cleared again then wet sanded and buffed. It is my opinion that paint is the better choice.
