Rocky31186
This is the most fun at a race track i've ever had. I got to park in the Infield right by the track, so we could watch the race from our SRT section. The heat really got to me, walking all over the place looking at venders, meeting SRT drivers / engineers, 96*. The GTS-R is awesome to see in person. This was also my first time shooting fast moving cars, so I need to improve on that. My 200mm lens was maxed out trying to get good focus'ed shots. ISO was too high causing noise in photos that I tried to edit out. But here are some of my 200 photos.. http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid2.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid3.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/mid4.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid5.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/mid7.jpg I REALLLLLLY wanted one of these red flags, but it was a no go.. http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid8.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid10.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid11.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid12.jpg

Tuckin Tire! http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid19.jpg On the left.... Dick Winkles, aka "Mr. V-10". He developed the Viper engine from day one. On the Right.. Ralph Gilles, President / CEO of SRT. Both were very nice people to talk to.. Not your typical engineer / CEO That stay in the AC trailer. They signed autographs and took pictures with anyone. http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid22.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/Mid27.jpg

Rocky31186
Compuware Corvettes are sooo loud (as usual) Yeah the corvette and the viper had completely different exhaust tones than all the other cars racing. So you could always tell when they were coming.

They were reppin Cadillac hard with all the V wagons. I NEED one. I'm not sure what sounded better the Vette's or the Green R8's.
Xyster101
I took some too. Not much PS done here. I don't have the time to mess with them. Plus I am not pleased with most of my pictures. Only using the kit lens that came on my D90. In trying to lower the shutter speed, I ended up over exposing them. There was just so much sun at 2pm. I still shot at ~200 and turn the ISO down as much as I could and zoomed all the way in. Still too much light. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/5.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/4.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/3.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/2.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/1.jpg
