justinwebb
I like the idea they came up with, instead of changing batteries between a bunch of different tools, now its like a camera lens and you just change the heads of the drill to whatevs http://gizmodo.com/5937602/multi+head-drill-replaces-a-workshop-full-of-tools

Likewise with the circular. My craftsman router is 1.5 HP and it can get bogged on a deep joint.
justinwebb
I agree some might not work well but for smaller around the house jobs it might.

944s2
http://www.ryobitools.com/catalog/18v_oneplus I prefer my Ryobi One+ system. The battery life is great I have 2 big and one half battery. I own the Drill, circular, reciprocating, flashlight, trimmer, blower, and hedge trimmer. The trimmer for instance gets 30min... plenty of time to trim and edge my whole yards with one big battery. If not I grab the other while the first one charges and before the 2nd battery dies the first one is fully recharged. For most less than 1 acre yards these tools are great. Quiet and cheap to run and very reliable. Edit: and I just noticed this new tool! http://www.ryobitools.com/catalog/18v_oneplus/cordless/P340
