Mojoe
Late last night I ordered some equipment from Crutchfield. The order wasn't VERY expensive, but it was a good dollar amount. Today is Labor day and by 1:30 today, about 12 hours after the order, they had emailed me and I had 2 missed calls from them. You see, the shipping address and my billing info were different. I'm 100 miles from my car, so I sent my purchase to where the car is. I called them, and the lady who had called me answered, mind you this is a holiday. In her voicemail she left me a passcode to tell her, and in her email she told me to check my voicemails for the passcode to confirm I placed the order. Pretty thorough if you ask me. Everything about the order said Credit card fraud, and they were mindful of it. I'm pretty much blown away by that level of customer service
Sledhead36
They do that for every order pretty much these days. Too much fraud on electronics. Great customer service.
Mojoe
That's a huge burden to take on to ensure people aren't fraud-ed. Kudos to them for taking the extra step.
SRTurbo04
yea most companies will also call your credit card company when the shipping addy is different then your billing and they will then verify if the alt shipping addys there if not thats when they usually try to contact you further.
