MattKatz Posted September 18, 2012 Report Share Posted September 18, 2012 This truck was bought New by my Wifes Late Grandfather, then passed down to her father, and a few years ago I bought it as a little DD type pickup. It has never Let me down a Single time, and hauls anything we throw at it. Im simply out of room.....We currently own 4 vehicles and I just dont have the room for this as I am Buying a Dmax to tow with, so I really dont have any use for this anymore. Its nothing Special, But Is in Great Shape for a 98 and is almost 100% Rust Free. 116K miles, 2.2 Auto,Dark Cloth, Manual Windows and Locks, 3rd Door, Alloy Wheels, Bedliner, CD, AC, Cruise Control. Tires are Decent all around, PAint is In Pretty good shape with the exception of a minor scrape on passenger side front bumper, and a few on Tailgate. Truck does have dome dings, but nothing a Dent DR. Couldnt Repair if needed. Overall the Truck is in Good to well above Average shape. The Good Runs Great, 21-24MPG+, One Family Owned, Unmolested right down to the Air FIlter, Clean Frame, rockers and spotless Cab Corners, Starts first tiime every time, drives well, Newer Alternator. The Bad Headlights and Tails showing Their Age, Tiny amount of Rust starting to form at bottom of Third Door, Rolled up tonneu Cover which rubbed the paint on the rear of the cab, typical broken seat adjuster, Leak in AC system somewhere. Holds charge for about three months and works awesome before needing recharged, could use an alignment, Speed 4 on blower doesnt work. (1-3 do) I checked Book On this and Was actually Surprised on what it said, and I havent looked at what Real world Value is of the truck in comparison, but I know for a '98.....This thing is in Damn Good Shape and unmolested and thats getting harder to find foor guys for just a truck, or for a solid starter to modify.
