Don 95Vert
12" Milwaukee Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw. Used it for a couple of projects which are now done and all I am doing is storing it now. Cost >$600 new. The Milwaukee 6955-20 12-Inch Sliding Dual Bevel Miter Saw Dual integral jobsite lights that fully illuminate the work piece and cut line from either side of the blade. This makes it easier for the user to see the blade enter the material. It also eliminates the hassle of buying and setting up independent lighting. These lights are especially beneficial on pre-finished millwork. The Milwaukee 6955-20 12-Inch Sliding Dual Bevel Miter Saw also features an electronic soft start that allows the carpenter to sneak up on the cut line without damaging material. The blade takes less than two seconds to get up to full speed, but that makes all the difference in ensuring a smooth start. The Milwaukee 6955-20 12-Inch Sliding Dual Bevel Miter Saw has a motor that features constant power technology which provides constant speed under load. The RPM (3,250) of the blade is the same at both no load and during loaded cutting. This ensures a quick, clean cut even in hardwood materials. The Milwaukee 6955-20 12-Inch Sliding Dual Bevel Miter Saw contains an integral dust channel that captures up to 75% of the dust and debris cut by capturing dust near the cut on both sides of the blade and directing it to the back of the saw. This maximizes airflow and allows waste to flow through the back elbow and into waste container. The result in the Best Dust Collection in the Industry! This saw has an oversized single lever bevel adjustment with (9) positive bevel stops which allows the saw to easily bevel left and right 0 degrees 48 degrees. Voltage 120 AC Amps 15.0 Blade Size 12" Slide Yes Bevel Range 48° Left to 48° Right No Load Speed 3,200 RPM Adjustment Type Digital Light Yes-Dual Integrated Miter Stops Left-0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45°, 55° Right-0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45°, 60° Bevel Stops Left-0°, 15°, 22.5°, 33.85°, 45°, 48° Right-0°, 15°, 22.5°, 33.85°, 45°, 48° Vertical Cutting Capacity 6.55 Ninety Degree Cross-Cut Capacity 13.5 Blade Diameter 12" Arbor Size 5/8 " or 1" Miter Range 55° Left to 60° Right Ship Weight 76 lbs. This saw cuts really well and is very accurate due to the quality of a Milwaukee power tool. This is a professional tool. One thing to mention is the LCD micro adjustment gauge works (you can see the numbers OK), but it is way off zero - I never used it, I always used the detent stops anyway. It may just need an adjustment or may need to be serviced. That's the only thing that doesn't work right - the motor and cutting power are all 100%. Selling it for $395 as-is, no warranty or returns. You'll have to come get it in Delaware because it's too heavy for me to haul around. email me at dlasota@columbus.rr.com if interested. I do take PayPal and credit cards for 3% more.
