Guest GMoney
If you want to eliminate the guess work when it comes to choosing rings, do some measuring. I run those same exact rings on my 10FCP setup and they work perfectly. Most people laugh when I tell them I'm running low-mount rings on a 56mm scope. Works perfect, though. Agree i run low mounts on my 56 also.
schmuckingham
Agree i run low mounts on my 56 also. I am going to get some pics up but I wound up using low mount rings from Millet. Worlds difference on the cheek weld, only thing I am struggling with is getting it all level. schmuckingham
Finally broke down and bought a gun vise, not a fan of the plastic but it works alright for what I am doing. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/IMG_0107.jpg I went with the Millet brand rings to keep everything the same, wound up using their low mount rings and it fits like glove. All I need now is something for a better cheek weld. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/IMG_0104.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/IMG_0105.jpg Crappy pic but it shows how close it all gets. Bolt clears even with my hand manipulating it: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/IMG_0106.jpg
Nate1647545505
...and here I thought my ocular sat high up Check into RAT's cheek weld products, www.ratgrips.com I've seen them on alot of bench rifles but can really say much else. The Tipton will serve you well. For being what it is, you'll come to appreciate it. Edit: When I rocked the synthetic stock on the Mjuan, I used this http://www.desertwarriorproducts.com/Cheek-Rest-700.html
