Spadgm
Hi my names Rob and I am a big fan of the performance car scene in the states. I heard about this site from another car forum and thought it sounded interesting! Look forward to seeing all that the forum has to offer and contributing where I can. Cheers!

Doc1647545523
Welcome, Rob. You might be our only Kiwi member. You get a lot of great cars over there that we don't see in the U.S. As Rich said, you'll need to post a pic or two of what you drive and tell us a little about what you've done with your car(s) or at least what you want to do with it. Is there drag racing in New Zealand? I know there's some great touring by car and motorcycle. Do you rally? I admit, I'm pretty ignorant--about all I know about New Zealand and speed I learned from the movie about Burt Munro. + rep
Spadgm
Thanks guys, Well at the moment I am inbetween performance cars and just have my Nissan which is not much to write home about to be honest! I have in the recent past owned a E46 M3 and a 2006 Subaru Legacy with a few mods including HKS boost controller, HKS cat back exhaust, Hks air filter and carbon fiber intake. The M3 was standard and both cars were relatively similar in performance. Here are some pics. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/E46-RAT/DSCF1053.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/E46-RAT/High-Quarter_HDR2.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/E46-RAT/Rizel_Version_by_whhoah.jpg Doc we do have drag racing over here, I must admit I dont partake in motorsports myself but I have an interest in all things high performance. There are some great driving roads over here but a zealous police force! Ah you have watched the worlds fastest indian! Well that will give you a little idea but things have moved on! I like American v8's but over here new ones can be very expensive, Well over $100 grand NZ for a new GT500 Mustang and $130 grand+ for a new Camaro! Cheers, Rob.
FourString
Note to self: buy a stack of fail bodies to take to New Zealand. Welcome to CR! I have a soft spot for the M3.

ImUrOBGYN
Welcome. I'm a little jealous as New Zealand is beautiful. The gf and I came close to moving there a few years ago for work but obviously Ohio is just too awesome to let us go. lol Unlike Doc, I learned most everything I know about New Zealand from the show Flight of the Conchords. haha
