craig71188
Looking to purchase a 12g Deerslayer barrel for my Ithace 37 / Featherweight. Anybody got one to sell? Yea, I've seen some online, but I'm not in the $200+ market yet...

craig71188
Yes - the "Deerslayer" is Ithaca's slug barrel for that gun
Ahmadi6490
Would you be willing to sell the gun as it is?
Skinner
Yes - the "Deerslayer" is Ithaca's slug barrel for that gun I have a Ithaca as well. Never knew the deer slayer was the tag for the barrel. I may have a extra slug barrel at my step dads. w I'll look this weekend when I go visit. Also have you ever had issues with cycleing a round? Mine will tend to "jam" about every 10 or so rounds.
craig71188
Would you be willing to sell the gun as it is? No, I bought it new in the late '70's. Would just like to have a slug barrel for it. (as opposed to buying another complete one)

Thanks. Check the serial number on it if you have one. There is some issue with pre-1963 and earlier not working with the later guns. Also, no, I've never had a problem with this gun - and I bought it when I was 18 and used it hard initially - never failed to cycle, dead nuts reliable. KillJoy
If you cannot locate a rifled barrel, my Dad has had decent luck with the rifled slugs in his Ithica Smooth Bore..... KillJoy

KillJoy Yea, I'm not too picky - the older Deerslayers are smooth bore - I think it's the Deerslayer II that is rifled. At this point I'd be happy with either one. Robert Aaron Parsons
My dad has wanted a model 37 Ultra-featherlite 20 guage with the deer on it for years. Incredibly hard gun to find. My uncle has one and won't sell it to me for anything. The older Ithaca's are great guns for sure... Pavo

craig71188
Mine is a late 60s model 67 I believe. Should be no problem - as I understand it everything '63 and later is interchangable.
