Way more predictable power than a turbo run after run, and can instantly be tuned for efficiency on the highway. If it's reliable enough I can picture this in production cars. Green Bastard Posted October 26, 2012 Report Share Posted October 26, 2012 Interesting they are finally looking at variable ratio superchargers for cars, they used to use them in aircraft successfully in the second world war (I'm sure the setup was a lot different though).
