Fubar231
This two part professionally produced drag racing film from early 1971 is, in our opinion, the most fantastic vintage drag racing movie we’ve ever watched on the internet. The film was commissioned by Plymouth and it not only gives some great history on the sport, but also follows the stock, super stock, funny car, and top fuel exploits of drivers like Ronnie Sox, Don Grotheer, Arlen Vanke, The Snake, Garlits, and on and on. The film uses footage from the middle sixties all the way up through the 1971 Winternationals showing class wins by drivers at places like Bristol, Indy, and Beeline Dragway in Arizona at the AHRA Winternationals. Along with all that great stuff there’s the narration by Keith Jackson, cameo appearances by Linda Vaughn and a cast of drag racing thousands. This video even takes us to a Chrysler performance clinic appearance by Don Grotheer. You’ll see Wally Booth and Grumpy Jenkins along with Ed Terry, and other super stock legends taking on the mighty hemi powered Plymouths in class warfare! KICK BACK, RELAX, AND PRESS PLAY TO SEE WHAT IS ABSOLUTELY THE FINEST OLD SCHOOL DRAG RACING FILM ON THE WEB – STOCK, SUPER STOCK, TOP FUEL, AND NITRO FUNNY CAR FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF THE SPORT – UNREAL!!!!
