2013 300S - Penastar V6 and 8 speed automatic

$33,000 (Comes with 20" wheels)

2013 300C - Hemi with 5 speed auto

$37,000 (Added 20" wheels)

 

Hemi costs $4000 more.

 

2013 Ram HFE - Penastar V6 with 8 speed

$28,200 (Base)

2013 Ram Express - Hemi with 5 speed auto

$25,200 (Base)

 

Penastar is $3,000 more.

Not in the new V6 Ram for sure. The only they can get people interested is to be put the 8 speed behind it. That way they can talk up the crazy mileage. Otherwise it would likely be dismissed as far behind the Ford Ecoboost half tons.

looks like they're both rated at 395hp.

 

3.92 is the highest with the Express/V8. 3.21 is the only option HFE/V6.

 

Eco mode is only nice for freeway driving. Annoying when it kicks in on the street with minimal throttle input. Once Diablo Sport gets their Trinity updated for the 12' Rams, I'll turn it off.

 

I've got 3.55's in my truck. But I got the dash display, which the other trucks on the lot didn't have. I plan on doing 4.10's when I put my wheels on. It'll make a nice difference for city driving.
