I've been following this too. Some of those shots up inside the head don't look so good if you ask me but maybe it will all work out in the end. Re-build from PCNA is roughly $20k, used motors are about the same money, crate motor is $40k.

 

Also wonder about little things they might be overlooking. That car has $5-6k in shocks on it but did the socks pull in water from being submerged too and are they now junk?

 

it'll be interesting to see how it ends up. As they already stated in the blog if the harness is not able to be saved it's a HUGE cost.
