Ramsey
Is there decent option for the "skinny" front wheel that is decent to drive on the street? Im pretty sure i have bfg 155/80/15 but it just doesnt seem up the challenge in a full weight street car.

TurboRust
i remember my mach1 with skinnies and it definitely took some getting used to.. theres certainly some rollover in the tire around corners what kinda of psi are you running in them? Maybe 40? I will check tomorrow. I saw guy running 225/50s, but i was want a speed rating high enough for what it could trap down the road. Nickey4271647545519
I have the same problem. I'm running 35lbs (maybe 40) in my 165/15 and it doesn't seem they're up to task.

Buck531
Sounds like you need some mustang tire/rim combo off this sweet ride. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd135/pwoodland/TIRES_zps525d261a.jpg

nurkvinny
I never minded the Mickey skinnies up front. But with 18.5" wide balloons out back w/ 12lbs, it's not like a go carving corners...
evil8
They all suck, deal with it.
SHIEF
MT sportsman with the 8ply would get my vote. Assuming car is around 3500#

MT sportsman with the 8ply would get my vote. Assuming car is around 3500# Its a full weight gt with full exhaust and heavy driver mod. MrMeanGreen
I've been running skinnies for years on the street. Ramps are a good, slow task. Don't expect to stop on a dime.
TurboRust
yeah i knew the 225s were wider but i was wondering if they would fit a 4 inch rim? 225 bulges hard on a 6" no way is a 4" happening

KennyFKINPowerz
I run them on the street too and Anthony speaks the truth about ramps. He had to point out to me how bad mine were rolling over by going up a ramp too fast
Mattsv8
I've ran mt sportsman frons for 16 yrs. They are great front runners. And unlike any street skinny u will find they will go 150s all day long and not explode!
