TimTaylor751647545500
Editing posts in an oven thread and pushing thru a new user because apparently we now cater to a single user because of their rep? Sad. 1
gillbot
Some people have already paid their dues IMHO.
nurkvinny
I deleted your posts. Someone's proven and earned car rep carries a lot of weight. And I don't believe it's "sad". Years of investing in the car scene is vastly more important than you ordering someone to read a thread and post pics.
TimTaylor751647545500
So you're a hypocrite then, is what you're saying?

gillbot
Some people don't need the typical morons here running them off before they have had a fair chance.
TimTaylor751647545500
More often than not, people who either annoy the majority or just simply don't follow the rules typically have a short lifespan here. So to those that do actually adhere, we just simply delete their posts informing those other individuals as to the procedures are because of their "status" or "rep". How many members who have joined this site don't make it beyond the kitchen because they can't follow the rules? Obviously Mr. Howie is joining our site at this time to talk up his Evo, why is his failed thread an open invitation to the site because of his status vs some kid with a '95 civic that doesn't post a picture of his car? SHIEF
Editing posts in an oven thread and pushing thru a new user because apparently we now cater to a single user because of their rep? Sad. A user with known car knowledge/and well known car past? I don't see a problem with that. Rather have that than someone with a Miata posting what an awesome tennis match they just had. wagner
You do realize that not everybody is an e-all star? If they fucking suck they will get imstocked on the back end.. Deal with it.
Ramsey
they are plenty of people who are on this forum who could "post pics" & "read the intro rules" who shouldnt be on this board. So clearly its not the only standard we should go by.
blue98ls1
Its this kind of attitude that drives off some of the best people for this forum. Everyone bitches and complains not enough people go out and race. Or not enough people talk about car stuff, and here we are chasing away all of the people that could potentially benefit this site and make it better. Not everyone is amazing at introductions, I personally hate them. Doesn't mean he won't be a valuable member though. He is signed up for our next track day, so in part he is already doing more for this forum than most of the people here.
ForeverMaker
Maybe going to a track day = instant account on CR or something.
JuicedH22
On the thread title... I have the first guy at work in my career that kisses my ass... It's highly annoying, and not productive in the least. At first it was flattering but a bit creepy... Now it's just annoying... And to make it worse its mostly talk with little action. Ugh. Just thought I would share, if you are "that guy" at work, you should know its picked up on and you're not respected for it...

TimTaylor751647545500
10/4 Good to know we shouldn't call people out unless we have a magic crystal ball and know their intentions and that they're going to be a great addition to the site.
