phil
What would it take to get you to come race 1x at marion? Im just throwing around some ideas and just wanted to know what your thoughts on it were. Yes the track is sketch, yes its in the middle of no where, yes its a hilljack track. With that said, they also let you get away with anything you want, the time limit is non existant, and you make your own rules. Just trying to gauge the crowd

phil
is the 29th thing at trails not going to happen now? we have run into a hiccup with trails holding out info and we are thinking of a contingency plan if the issue cannot be resolved this week
MrMeanGreen
Why were they holding out on info? It sounds like they were getting the better end of the deal to begin with.
phil
Why were they holding out on info? It sounds like they were getting the better end of the deal to begin with. they were getting a great deal, and they were very giving at the same time, but when you hold out on a 1500$ fee, that throws a big wrench in the budget and plans. He has also been extremely slow in responding on the issue

DOZZER
It depends. I went many times for ODRA grudge nights and spent more time trying to get a race from than racing. 90% were chicken shit.

I went many times for ODRA grudge nights and spent more time trying to get a race from than racing. 90% were chicken shit. that is the one thing that will kill this type of event. This is set up for the people that want to race on their own terms. If we can stick 300 people in a parking lot together then we should see some racing. What I dont want is 300 people to show up and pull a " Sawmill, Home depot" stand around. People want to see racing.

There are a whole lot of gum flappers and trolls, but not a lot of people willing to do anything. Have you started to push this on Yellowbullet.com yet? Geeesammy
I'd come watch. Racing is a 50/50 shot. Long way home which equates to an expensive tow.

The upside to marion is the you can do whatever you want, and their is no time limit. pros/ cons
