Geeesammy
Stumbled upon this. I've been tossing around the idea of visiting this historic site for a little while now. This little video and site just peaks my interest even more. Figured I would share for anyone else who can appreciate the "old days." "Once a symbol of industrial might and now ground zero for rustbelt blight, the Packard plant in Detroit has become an urban explorers' delight, graffiti artists' canvas, scrappers' cash in a city beleaguered by decay." http://www.freep.com/article/20121202/NEWS01/120814070
Gergwheel1647545492
Very cool video, sad to see a huge plant like that going to waste though

2 Sweet
I think someone on this forum posted pics of the Packard plant last year, or maybe it was just a link to an article, I can't remember. But this kind of historical shit fascinates me for some reason. Old buildings/factories that were once humongous and successful and state of the art, now just run down wastes of space. Pretty cool but also really sad and unfortunate. You see these now/then pics and it's just surreal.
DaddyBuiltRacing
That town will soon become a ghost town. I would love to go visit this building though, old run down shit intrigues me as well.
