Haha TED tends to not to be a platform for 2nd amendment advocacy; and any/all accessories related therein. He talked mostly about creating a mobile shop that could travel to high schools to teach kids the kinds of things many of us here wish we learned back then: Welding, metal fab, CNC, etc. I'm sure 3D printing has been added to the agenda since then. In the sense that he wanted to encourage people who have intangible ideas in their head to turn them into real products; yes, he discussed projects like yours.
