Mallard
Loeb is an amazing driver and the outcome is not shocking, although his time is unreal. The biggest shock to me was I actually saw him crack a smile after winning.

Loeb is just on his own level

Draco-REX
Dropping Loeb on Pike's peak is like dropping a dolphin into an Olympic swimming race. Yeah, the other competitors are top in their field, but he's just made for it.

10phone2
great driving, it's a shame that the road is paved now.
Mallard
Are there any photos of the tow cars to be seen ? Autoblog has a couple good galleries, and Loeb's car has been posted around a lot. Rhys's car is a rebodied 2006 Daytona Prototype and has a turbo Hyundai V6 (stroked to 4.1L) making 895 HP and is RWD. Loeb's car is an AWD 875 HP twin turbo 3.2L V6 Peugeot. (0-60 in 1.8 sec, 0-150 (top speed) in 7 sec)
Got-Boost?
great driving, it's a shame that the road is paved now. I did like it before for racing but now I'm glad it's paved because it was a pain driving up it before behind clueless people...
10phone2
I could see that. I couldn't imagine driving behind mom and pop in the rain/snow on a dirt road like that. I'm envious of you to have driven the road before it was paved all the way.
