o0n8
Seeing if there is anyone interested in my 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege and all parts I have to go with it. It's turned into a project I just don't have time for anymore and could use the extra garage space. Currently it does not run Last November the bolt that holds the cam gear on the intake camshaft sheared in half and the drain plug disappeared somewhere on 270 and all the oil drained out. I immediately shut off the car after the loud bang and oil light came on but have not removed the head or oil pan as of yet. There are no holes or cracks in the block but cannot guarantee it is still good for a rebuild. Edmunds Specs Edmunds Reveiw I am the second owner, bought it in Feb. 2006 when it had 18k miles. Current Millage: 72k There is some surface rust underneath of course but the body is in great shape. Minor dings here and there but typical for an 11 year old car. I removed the stock Kenwood sub when I installed the GT Spec Trunk cage and installed Alpine 6x9's in the rear deck. Currently no radio. Currently rocking some protege 5 wheels, Have some brand new Racing Dynamics 17x8 wheels that need the hub bored out I can throw in for an extra $500. Mallard
GLWS I loved my MSP when I had it. They are very, very good handling cars. Yours is actually a 2003.5 model, as was mine.
Zx2guy19
Awesome cars, definitely fun. What kind of gas mileage does it get out of curiousity?
o0n8
Awesome cars, definitely fun. What kind of gas mileage does it get out of curiousity? I averaged around 27-30 combined depending on driving conditions. I got 34 once on a trip to Indy.
MattKatz
I loved mine when I had it. If I had a place to keep this Abd work on it, I'd probably buy it.
