TurboNova
Well another busy year with the car, Stripped it all down at the end of the last season. Sent it to the body shop. Car was well overdue for body work and new molding, weatherstrip, bezels, trim and hardware. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/primer.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/primer2.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/paint3.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/trailer.jpg Got the turbo compressor polished, the exhaust housing and downpipe ceramic coated. Powder coated the belly pan and cold stuff. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/sideturbo.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/turbo-1.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/powder.jpg just ordered some billet atomizer injectors and had some upgrades done to my bigstuff 3 box that barnhill over at ptp will be tuning on this season. Got-Boost?
Looks great! Is it a real YENKO?
ShoMeSomeFun
Looks great! Is it a real YENKO? Was wondering the same thing. If not who cares, thing is badass.
-Alex-
From a looks perspective, I'm sad to see the chrome bumpers go, but I completely understand. The car looks great and I'm sure it'll be flying this year with Patrick tuning on it.
TurboNova
Thanks guys, its far from a real yenko, just like the stripe alot it kind of breaks the car up from a solid color. Trust me I fought the glass bumpers but I just put 70 more lbs on the nose with my turbo update and did not want any more weight. I also was not willing to take any interior out of the car from the stock appearance. I am excited to see what barnhill can do with the tune this year.
