Is it possible to re wrap a steering wheel? And if so know anyone that is able to do this? Would want it to still be on tan. Would be great of it was possible to make the wheel a tad thicker. As for making it thicker i dont know how well that would work cause im pretty sure its a rigid foam piece that makes the circumference of the steering wheel, with then metal in the middle. iwashmycar Posted February 13, 2014 Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 I stitched a Wheelskin on my XTerra. Not hard. I asked for a second roll of thread to do a baseball stitch.
