xTHExBOSSx46
i have this pump from saleen http://www.oberdorferpumps.com/pumps/centrifugal-pumps/170m/ i believe the seal to be the cause of my leak of coolant and i have everything pulled apart so im considering just changing pumps. (with the thought that if one component of the pump has gone bad soon others will follow.) this pump from what i am understanding is a 20gpm pump. im thinking of switching to this one from bosch that is on the cobras as well as the gt500. (other saleen owners have also used this pump) http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-intercooler-pump-cobra.html this pump however is a 8gpm pump. is it worth rebuilding the oberdorfer? is it possible to have too much coolant flow where it isnt giving it much of a chance to cool and a slower pump would be better? only asking cause saleen doesnt use the oberdorpher anymore when i called to get some info. and like i said other SC cars use this pump including my cobalt. thoughts? Forrest Gump 9
I had this pump on my car and it's the best one do far. Been going on for 3+ years and still kicking. With this pump I'm at about 12 degree above ambient. http://www.emp-corp.com/media/MarketingMaterial/WP29/SpecificationSheets/ElectricWaterPump.pdf
