The firm offers a wide variety of financial solutions as part of their suite of services including Mutual Funds, Advisory Services, Retirement Plan Products, Separately Managed Accounts, and Cash Management. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to manage the day to day network operations of the firm. This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing user requirements, analyzing existing procedures and implement technologies that automate business processes and improve existing computer systems. This position is charged with developing and implementing strategies with the goals of achieving shorter processing time, reduced work effort, higher efficiency, a higher quality of work product, and/or repeatability and consistency of output. Primary Responsibilities • Continuously monitor and keep operational all information systems, including desktop PCs, laptops, hardware/software, telecommunications, internet, remote access, faxing, email, network infrastructure (servers, firewalls, printers, cabling, telecommunications equipment, etc.), and other technology. • Manage projects related to new hardware and software implementation from a systems perspective on behalf of the company; coordinate software needs and usage to integrate all areas of the company and ensure uniform implementation throughout the business to expand the company’s capabilities. • Evaluate existing and new technology and how it should be incorporated into the company. • Maintain relations with vendors for hardware, software, and systems initiatives, including project bidding, services provided, and coordination between multiple vendors when necessary • Manage the company’s disaster recovery program, including equipment, facilities, and procedures. • Conduct special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Comfortable with New Reporting Requests in order to support a dynamic and growing business, along with Ad Hoc Reporting requests to meet Client needs Skills Required: • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related field • 3 to 5 years related work experience and/or training in the field of computer science or equivalent, supporting and troubleshooting PC’s, operating systems, LAN connectivity, and software • 3 to 5 years of experience with Windows Server or other network/server administration • Working knowledge of related operating systems, databases, and networking infrastructure, including Windows XP / 7+, Windows Server 2003+, SQL Server 2005+, Exchange 2000+, Office 2003+ • Strong knowledge of software development methods and tools, including but not necessarily limited to, VBA, Visual Studio (.NET/C++/C#), SQL/T-SQL, Crystal Reports or other equivalent reporting tool • A+, MCSE MCSD, MCAD, MCPD, MCITP, CCNA, or equivalent certification desired and preferred When responding, please include compensation history and expectations Please submit resume to: 109828-CS-5611@meederinvestment.hrmdirect.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
