And its about the only thing I see my girlfriend shooting so I am considering a .22LR upper for my AR15. I dont need the best of the best. RyM3rC Posted July 14, 2014 Report Share Posted July 14, 2014 I've run I don't know how many thousands of rounds through my CMMG 22 conversion. Takes a few seconds to pull the bolt carrier, then just change mags and you're good. Warrantied for life too- last time I sent mine in I got a revised new one and a free bonus mag. Once I wear this one out, we'll see if I get another mag free lol. Works best with hotter loads, but will eat cheap shit just has more misfires. Will need lubed generously around 300 rounds, and again before 500 to keep running. Runs marginally better on a lower with a rounded as opposed to notched hammer. The mags seem decent, and are holding up just fine so far. If you load to capacity you will dent a case or two. Accuracy is acceptable but not quite on par with a 10/22.
