Picked up some Avery 27881 business cards the other day (template 8371). Matte white....Box says "Heavyweight cards with premium print quality on BOTH sides". Printer is HP Office Jet d series. I've never printed biz cards before

One side is printing fine.....Can't get the other side to print for love nor money. Won't print...won't print....won't print....take the biz card sheet out....prints just fine on paper.....Stick sheet back in.....WON'T PRINT furious.gif

Done this about a dozen times now. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, & getting VERY frustrated BangHead.gif

Anyone have this problem before/Know what I'm doing wrong?

How the hell'd you find/read/answer this so fast? I JUST posted it 30 secs ago????
Are those some kind of tecky jokes I don't get that are making fun of the user??? ;)

Or my favorite when the help desk calls about something stupid:

"Did you have them reboot? Yes? Go ahead and have them reboot again. Maybe a few times."

You could try changing the paper type properties.

I'm assuming that you are trying to print the template from Word.

Goto File>Print

Should bring up a print window. There should be a properties button there. Click that. Click on the Printer / Quality Tab. change the "Type is" from Plain to cardstock or heavy.

I'll try that Case.....But if that's what it is, then why'd it print OK on the one side?

I see that I misread your first post.

I thought that it didn't print at all. Missed the one side only....

hmmmm

Are your printer properties set for auto feed or manual?

Do you have a manual bypass tray on that printer?

It'll print the 2nd side fine, as soon as I pull out the biz cards & just let it print on paper

And it'll feed the biz cards, and the printer head acts like it's printing on them, but it comes out blank for the 2nd side
