FatHemiDude
Recently had my car detailed. I was initially satisfied with the work, but unfortunately soon realized that the guy had waxed over the (less than a week old) vinyl stripes on the car, leaving a dull waxy film on them, complete with swirl marks from the buffer on the hood stripe. Anyone have any ideas what might work to remove the wax from the stripes?

JaSSon
He only wants some of the wax removed from the stripes? I assume he wants the rest of his paint still waxed.
FatHemiDude
Isopropyl Alcohol & Water really did the trick. Thanks very much!
cybe
For future reference, some 'quick detailer' will remove the appearance of wax without actually removing. Works on plasti-dip too.
