So the correct reading is 37013 When the had is between two numbers use the lower of the two. When the hand appears to be directly on top of a number, look at the number to the right. jeffro Posted August 6, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 6, 2014 Long story short, AEP read the meter wrong and was attempting to charge us $220 for an apartment we no longer live in. We were there for the first 15 days of the billing cycle, then moved out. (keep in mind this was a tiny 650 sq ft single bedroom flat.) I made absolute certain that all lights/AC were off and the fridge/freezer turned down.They refused to send someone out and made us do it for them.
