For sale is my near new Sig Sauer 716 .308 Patrol rifle with about 100-150 rounds sent down range through it. Works perfectly fine. Comes with a Nikon M-308 scope, bipod, magpul 45 degree forward grip, one 20round pmag, original box and paperwork. Asking $2,250 OBO. Selling it with 2 brand new never opened 40round pmags, three steel 30round gi mags and one used pmag. Also selling it with just shy of 200 rounds of federal .223 brass. Asking $800 OBO

Most rifles like this have quite a bit of polymer in the making of the stock and hand guards. Polymer is very durable and aids in the weight reduction on these rifles. These weapons both have polymer gear on them. If you are interested in buying, the best thing to do is see it in person and get hands on. A uniformed person can confuse polymer for plastic. Yup I'm familiar with polymer, makes sense. Maybe it was just his specific gun and me not being very knowledgeable with rifles. glws
