nismopc
Personally looks like "rice" meets RUF. IMHO of course... The engine bay looks hideous. The steering wheel cover looks like something from the Walmart clearance aisle. The way the amp and crossover is mounted looks awkward. The door speakers appear to be super cheap off the shelve speakers. The owner has no idea what the specs are on the engine?!?! 3.6L L6 SOHC 12V, 6cyl., was the factory engine, the engine has been redone and is very throaty, but I do not have the specifics. But the exterior looks good. ;-)
CRed05
^Agree, but it can be saved. Remove the stereo stuff, wheel cover and red gauge surround and it will look good. Wonder if Ruf worked on the engine?

RedRocket1647545505
Are those things seriously still $35k?
RyM3rC
Are those things seriously still $35k? They can be, although my personal opinion is this one isn't unless it has some super secret RUF work.
Farkas
Are those things seriously still $35k? No. That's about 15k overpriced... the guy is just trying to cash in on the aircooled 964 craze. Cabriolets are not particularly sought after, especially if they have cheesy modifications such as this one does. Really clean C2 964 coupes(the desirable models) are starting to get up in the 30s with low miles and in fantastic condtion, but the average market price is right around 23-26k right now. macpyro2
Actually talked to the dude who owns this. He had it out when he's was having a garage sale. Started it and everything. Guy doesn't know much about the car, he had no clue about the motor or anything. Car is is not in the greatest condition but he swears up and down that's how much it is. Audio system looked like a one off masterpice, thrown to gather by audio genius Dave in trailer 268. It would be a good deal at 12k.
Forrest Gump 9
You would be really densed to buy an air cool Porsche right now. The price is higher than ever before. 996tt is where it's at !

Farkas
You would be really densed to buy an air cool Porsche right now. The price is higher than ever before. 996tt is where it's at ! Bottom dollar on air-cooled Porsches, (specifically the 964) was 2 years ago and there's no sign of them coming back down at all... anyone who's smart would buy now. Analysts are saying an average of 15% increase is likely to continue trending. Prices in Europe are much higher than they are here and many people are scooping up what we have in the US and exporting them back to Europe because it's still cheaper that way! Also, the Asian countries are starting to take notice of air-cooleds and I guess there's a trend of imports happening there, too. So, with that taken into consideration, you also have Singer hoarding every and all 964 he can get his hands on, and you're looking at a scramble of people looking for 964s... needless to say, prices are going crazy. I'm confused why anyone would be dense
