Captain_Panic1647545539
Finally bit the bullet and picked up a twin set today while getting a new rear tire. This thing is fantastic. I have no fairings/windshield, and have an open faced helmet. With the visor closed, my gf couldn't hear any background noise up until 70mph. If anyone is looking to get something like this, I highly recommend this set.
Red Beard
That's great!! definitely need to see about picking up a set like this for the wifey and I. That's gotta be one of the only down sides to riding without one, no way to communicate unless we scream at a stop light lol.
Captain_Panic1647545539
I haven't actually tried the set to set communication. I was on the phone via bluetooth with her. I called a friend earlier while riding, and she said she wouldn't have had any clue that I was riding if I hadn't told her.
starkmaster03
Yeah I picked up the same set earlier this year. It works great on two way communication, talking on the phone and listening to the radio. Did you pick it up at Iron Pony? I saw them there when I was getting a tire but bought mine on Ebay for much less.
Captain_Panic1647545539
Yes, I got them at iron pony. After using them for a few weeks, I still love it. Worth every penny. The only thing I don't like is the radio. It is only good for riding at low speeds in the city. I can only go from too quiet to too loud. The headset to headset communication is wonderful, and really changed the atmosphere around riding. I was almost hit a few days ago, and I was able to stop but my friend was right in the way. I yelled at him to punch it, and he was able to speed up to avoid the accident. Couldn't have done that without this system.
