The IG found that the employee had downloaded and viewed more than 7,000 pornographic files. The Justice Department is investigating further for possible prosecution. Four months later, the employee has not been fired and is still collecting government pay, Environment & Energy Publishing reported last week. That prompted Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) to introduce a bill the day Congress left town to make it a uniform federal government law that employees cannot look at porn at work. Green Bastard
That's sad that they have to make a law about porn at work. It's even worse that the other guy still has a job.
Mensan
They don't have to make a law. Laws should be reserved for those things that cannot be controlled at lower levels of administration, or when things are out of control. Where was this guys supervisor? o0n8
That's sad that they have to make a law about porn at work. It's even worse that the other guy still has a job. You would think it would just be a given for the work place, and at the very worst, part of the standard operating procedures. Pretty sure anyone else anywhere else would have been fired on the spot. But hey, Porn might just be the one thing that brings both sides together...
Nate1647545505
So, lets be real, senior level is most likely an SES (CIO of types, eq of the General rank) DISA will stop anything related to pr0n, but SES's tend to get special treatment. Must have been using ISP or black.
Mojoe
^^Many probably don't understand that. Go ahead and not be at that high level, and try to look at porn at work. You're done. Gone from the system within and hour. Access shut off for you, and your leadership is doing the paperwork on you.
