Linn1647545492
It's time for me to get a new daily so this one is now up for sale. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/4733538596.html Up for sale is a 1999 Saab 9-3 liftback with 2.0 Turbo motor and a manual transmission. This is a great daily commuter car and that's exactly why I purchased it. The car is red/with black leather heated seats, front and side airbags/abs, am/fm/cd, cruise, steering wheel controls for stereo, power mirrors/windows. Factory alarm system works properly with the key FOB. A/C blow nice and cold, fog lights work, both heated seats work. The car has 165,2xx miles on it and runs and drives like it has 50k miles. NEVER SMOKED IN. The paint looks great on the car but, it does have your typical rock chips on the hood and a few small door dings. It is my daily driver and I put 45 miles on the car everyday so the mileage will continue to go up everyday I own the car. It's reliable and I would not hesitate to drive it across the county. At 70 MPH the car will get 31 MPG at 75 it gets 30 and at 80 will get 29 cruising on the freeway. I've owned the car for 4 years and put over 30k miles on it. During my ownership I've fix, replaced or upgraded the following: - A/C recharged and new relay - New fuel pump, sending unit, Fuel pressure regulator and MAP sensor - Front break pads - Vogtland lower spring about a 1.5 inch drop and KYB struts. - Front mount intercooler - Custom throttle body hat with all new intercooler piping - RFL Blow off valve - Cold Air Intake - Boost Gauge - BBS RK wheels with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires 215/45/17 - It will also come with the stock wheels and winter tires. - I did replace the SID but, once again not all of the pixels are working. This is a very common issue. - Cabin filter and new NGK plugs. - Oil is changed every 3000 miles and I also changed the transmission fluid after I purchased the car. - New Passenger fog light housing - Fan speed control switch - New front Saab emblem - Rubber Saab Floor mats I was setting the car up to be a Stage 2+ car but, never got around to having it tuned and turning the boost up. Once again the car has a stock tune and stock boost setting. The car is not perfect and does have some common Saab issues; - The HVAC control knob is bound in the dash, I have it manually set to 90% dash and 10% defrost - SID does not display 100% of the pixels - Fuel gauge does not read 100% full only 7/8 and doesn't read 100% empty. The new fuel hat/sending unit caused this issue. - Two spots of rust on the car - The oil return line does seep a very small amount of oil. - The antenna needs some help retracting, it does try on it's own but, gets stuck so you have to give it a push down when you turn the radio off. I always just listen to a CD so it's not an issue for me. coltboostin
If you're serious we should talk. I've been looking at cts-vs and 335is I'd consider it. I wont be driving it this winter, and it may push me to make a play for something a bit more exotic next year. Love the car though. Hit me up we can talk about it. Linn1647545492
Ugh. I want this. GLWS. Great price. So come get it For a stock tune the car is relatively quick, running a best of 14.9 @ 97 MPH. This is at the stock boost level of 11 pounds, go stage 2+ and the car should trap around 103-105. mustangman2011
Just curious what does stage 2 consist of exactly?
Linn1647545492
Just curious what does stage 2 consist of exactly? The only thing you would have to add for a stage 2 is a tune and down pipe, for a stage 3 just add a catback to the stage 2. The Saab already has a big aftermarket front mount intercooler. http://www.jzwbmwtuning.com/product/t5-mail-in-ecu/#prettyPhoto

Geeto67
Is this the 185hp model (b204L) or the 200hp model (b204r) stock? It's a great car, I wish I could swing it as well but Xmas is right around the corner which maybe what is making people extra frugal (I know it is doing it to me). Good luck. It's 185 HP so a tune will really wake the car up. Full exhaust with a tune and it will make 230 at the front wheels.

Linn1647545492
Serious question...FWD? And, how is the tread on the tires? Yes, its FWD and the there is a lot tread left on the tires ~20k miles on the Primacies. The stock wheels/tires have a lot of life on them as well I put about 10k miles on them. The Saab is a beast in the snow.
