jeffro
I know its a tall order, but hear me out. I am a Network Administrator for a not for profit behavioral health center out of Delaware Ohio. Over the last few days we have noticed significant packet loss and connections issue and have narrowed it down to a faulty switch. Generally we use a company called TechSoup for our IT related software and hardware purchases, but for whatever reason they cannot get the hardware to us for 8 weeks. TechSoup offers serious (and i mean SERIOUS) discounts for non-profit organizations and that's why we have to go through them. So my question, does anyone have at least one 24 port gigabit switch laying around they could let my agency borrow for a few weeks while we wait for our new equipment to get here? I'm sure we could write up some sort of Loan Agreement document so neither party gets taken advantage of. Much appreciated.
greg1647545532
Does it have to be gigabit? I have a 24 port catalyst 3500 XL from circa 2005, I'm not sure if it's gigabit though. If you want it, come pick it up and never give it back, I have no use for it. eta: Might have 2 gigabit uplink ports, but the 24 are probably 10/
