BBQdDude
No real specifics. When dealing with a salvaged car title how much does that effect private purchase price VS fair condition price? Say the car in fair condition is 5k what sort of offer would I make/buy at? Zx2guy19
45-55% of value....at least that's what I've seen. That probably applies to 10k and under. You won't get a 100k car that's salvage for 45k, (or hell, maybe you will).
STEVE-O
Few threads on this already but overall General is 50% unless it's a specialty car then it all really depends. Most appraisals will cut it in half
BBQdDude
Cool, exactly what I thought. Thank you.
Darkside
Wow you guys are rough. I've always thought 60-70% for a good salvage, assuming no flood or major frame damage.
Geeesammy
So is the title still salvage or is it salvage rebuilt? Bought my Supra with a rebuilt title, one hell of a story as to how it got it, and I got a blazing deal on a huge pile of shit.
EssFo
It says rebuilt salvage on the title if it's been through inspection. I've always got more than 50% value on my rebuilt cars. I would never touch a flood car though.
