Mowgli1647545497
You'll love it. Seminal gaming moment. So many titles in the RTS field begged borrowed and stole from Homeworld in the decade plus since its release that you'll recognize alot in it. At the time it was revolutionary. Even so, it was the art and the amazing audio, cutscene and story that really hooked people deep. The story's simple visual style is pure win: when Karan S'jet hooks herself into the ship linkage to become Mothership, her sacrifice to make the big ship fly... you just wanna give her a big http://www.childrensmuseumineaston.org/teddy-bear.jpg
JaSSon
I'm looking forward to this. Make sure your audio system is up to task!

Draco-REX
Loved this game when it came out. It was the first game that really had a strong emotional impact for me with the story line. The only thing I had issue with was that the enemy fleets scaled to whatever fleet you bring into the mission. If you're good at minimizing losses, you'll be facing some really strong fleets towards the end of the campaign. Not necessarily a bad thing. But I realized that by maximizing the strength of my fleets I made things really hard on myself later on. Still, I've thought about picking this up for the nostalgia. SRTurbo04
So whats the point of this game? Trailer just kind of compared graphis to the old one but no game play or purpose?

mmrmnhrm
Full 3D military RTS game, complete with unit formations. And by "Full 3D," we mean "FULL 3D"... your fleet (and the enemy fleet) can come from any direction. In front of you, behind you, flanking you, or from above AND below. Along with that, you could have the absolute best GeForce graphics card of the era, and you'd still be frame-chugging on the later missions. Somewhere in the house I've got the original Homeworld GOTY edition... might have to pull it out just to remember what the graphics were like compared to the remastered.
