I have started to buy stuff for my turbo 4.8 truck build. Does anyone have a set of junk LS heads that I can use for mock up? I want to make sure that I can clear the spark plug with my manifolds and use the head for a heat soak so that I don't warp the flanges. I want keep them very tight to the head and clearances will be tight. I used my Solidworks to model up the manifolds. Only have to grind on 6 parts to make everything work, everything else is just buy, tack in place and finish weld. These should clear everything, A/C, heater lines and even the PS. I will even be keeping the mechanical fan.

Side not do you still need g8 manifolds? I'm changing my setup and won't need them any longer

No I do not. Did a ton of measuring and can't figure out how to keep ac and use a flipped manifold.

I already bought all the materials for the manifolds and they are at the house.

I count 8 grinds Grant... Im only kidding but are you doing twins with v-banded housings? I thought you were just talking about doing a single?

Nope only 6. It is going to be a single kit. V-banding the crossover.

Someone has to have a damaged head they would let me borrow or buy for the scrap value. I only need just one. $80 shipped of ebay might be the only way to go?
